CLEARER FARE INFORMATION

How Pricing Works

Planned medical transport fares are built from the actual journey, service needs and an approved provider rate card.

What shapes a fare?

ambulance.my uses traceable pricing principles. The final amount depends on the selected journey and participating provider; confidential provider commercial arrangements are not published.

Provider rate cards

A fare starts with the approved base rate for the relevant journey type and ambulance class. Additional rates apply only when supported by an active provider rate card.

Chargeable journey distance

Ambulance mobilisation and patient travel are assessed separately. Distance beyond the included allowances can affect the fare, subject to the provider’s supported service area.

Journey and service needs

One-way and return journeys use different pricing bases. The service type, ambulance capability and selected add-ons can also shape the fare breakdown.

Timing and adjustments

Night, weekend or holiday adjustments apply only when enabled in the rate card. A customer service fee and applicable adjustments are presented as part of the fare breakdown.

Recurring transport

Weekly or monthly package discounts may apply when a journey meets the eligibility rules and the active pricing policy supports them. Eligibility and adjustments are confirmed before a final quotation.
